Overall this is a great car. I have owned it for about 10 years now and I have had allot of fun with it, but I just don't drive it enough to keep it around.  I think I am the third owner but it has been a long time since I checked CarFax.  I am probably the longest owner of the car.  Within the last 2000 miles I have fully tuned up the car. This car runs and drives excellent. It is in pretty good condition externally and internally for as old as it is.  There are a few external flaws that I show pictures of below. 

If you are looking for a car that is fun to drive and can take corners with ease this is your car. The speakers in the headrest make it easy to hear your music while you are cruising at whatever speed you are looking for and the aftermarket suspension and tires makes the car corner anything with ease. 

Car came with all of the options available from the dealer except air conditioning which are: 
1. Power-assisted steering 
2. Leather-wrapped steering wheel 
3. Power mirror 
4. Cruise control 
5. Power windows 
6. Automatic power antenna 
7. Tan leather interior 
8. Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) 
9. Viscous-type limited-slip differential (requires manual transmission) 
10. Mazda Sensory Sound stereo system with compact disc player 
11. Headrest speakers. 
12. Bass speakers in lower seat 

The following is the aftermarket things that were done to the car: 
1. Eibach Springs 
2. Koni Shocks 
3. SLR aftermarket rims and high quality Falken low profile tires 
4. The above aftermarket options were put on this car to even further increase the cornering ability of the Miata. 
5. K & N Air filter 
6. Rockford Fosgate speakers 

The following tune ups were done to the car within the last 2,000 miles:

1. New timing belt
2. New water pump
3. New belts
4. New hoses
5. New radiator and radiator flush
6. New spark plugs
7. New spark plug wires
8. New valve cover gasket

The following pictures show the problem areas with the car.  Over time it has developed some external wear that is starting to show.  The fist picture shows the white on the driver side mirror.  The second shows where the paint is a little darker looking below the fuel cap.  The third picture shows the clear coat that is pealing on the spoiler.  The spoiler is the only place where the clear coat is pealing and I am not sure why but I think the first owner must have put the spoiler on after he bought the car and it was of a cheaper grade.  The last picture shows the rag-top.  The rag-top is just getting a little old and they need replaced once in awhile.  I replaced it 10 years ago but if they are not kept in the garage religiously they wear out after awhile.  I priced them out at about $100 on Ebay.  They are not too bad to change but I have already done allot of work on this car to bring it back to top shape and I did not feel like taking on another project.
