    • Description

     This 1969 Lincoln Continental Mark 3 is a beautiful original car that has been pampered since new. Recently donated to a local charity it shows only 94K miles which we believe to be accurate. While it looks and runs great, it does have a few issues worth noting.

     The paint looks great, but is probably a repaint from several years ago. Now showing a few minor chips (primarily on the door edges) it still polishes up well and is very presentable. The chrome also looks good with the exception of the rear bumper which is beginning to pit. (see photo) The padded top shows no sign of rust from below but has some minor fading.

     Inside, everything looks great. The leather upholstery, carpets and headliner look virtually new. The controls will however need some tinkering, as several power accessories are refusing to work. Of all four power windows, only the driver's works. The power seat will go forward and back, but not up and down. The AM radio, power antenna, clock, and window washers are also on strike, and the AC will of course need to be recharged.

     Mechanically, it runs and drives like a dream. Fast and smooth with good brakes to match. The tires look fairly old with some sidewall cracks, so plan on changing them soon. Comes with a car cover and three spare wheel covers.

     Overall, one of the nicest Continentals we've ever had. Drive it while you fix the little things and you'll have a great car worthy of showing.

Out of state buyers will receive a California title in their name within two to three weeks after full payment is received.
