The Concept

This '07 Civic Si was modeled to be similar to the '06 Civic Si 2dr Coupe Concept Model. The rims are lighter than the Civic's HFP (Honda Factory Performance Model). EBC rotors standout on the front of the vehicle and centric rotors smooth out the braking from the rear with Akebono pads to round out the combination. The rims on the car were purchased from TireRack. They are OZ Alleggeritas that weigh 14.8lbs each. 17" rims don't get much lighter. The paintjob is custom to match the concept model and because the nighthawk black paint that was originally on the car had faded on the hood, roof and trunk. On 12/04/2013 Honda will be installing C stamped rear upper control arms. Currently I am running 225/45/17 Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric tires. It feels really nice on summer tires in comparison to the 215/45/17 all-season tires shown in the current photos.
