You are viewing a stunning example of a 1956 Jaguar XK140 MC Fixed Head Coupe (FHC). The MC models in North America were upgraded with a few options; C-Type cylinder heads (carried over from the XK120 catalogue and producing 210 bhp at 5,750rpms), 2-inch sand-casted H8 Carburettors, heavier torsion bars and twin exhaust pipes.

The Fixed Head Coupé (FHC) shared the Drop Head Coupe's interior trim and rear seat. However, there is more interior space and more legroom in the fixed head coupes. Excellent interior trimmings and appointments. Racing style lap belts are used for safety and a rear air conditioning unit installed.

This gem presents very well, both on the exterior and interior at a concourse level restoration. The engine bay is tidy and clean, presenting wonderfully as well. The wire wheels are like new with new tires with extremely little use. The paint has little to no flaws. The chrome throughout is very well presented and gleams on every corner of the car. The engine fires up instantly and drives wonderfully!
