What a nice El Camino we have found! Estate purchase that was sitting in indoor storage. Conquista with power windows, power door locks, tilt wheel, cruise control, am/fm cassette stereo, air conditioning that blows ice cold, gauge package, Ralleye wheels with Hoosier tires, that have tons of tread, and I believe, factory tinted glass. We had two of our old school technicians go over this car with a fine tooth comb. They are both 100% convinced that this is a 38k mile car. The condition of the driver's seat, the pedals, the carpet, under the hood, etc, leaves no doubt. The car is on mileage exempt clean Indiana title. This beautiful car does not have dents, except for the very minor ones in the bed. We believe the paint to be original. There are a few very small spots on the body that have been brush touched. The body is 100% rust free. There is a Rusty Jones rustproofing sticker on the back window. You can see the honey type material that they used back then, in and around the engine compartment. The air cleaner element was new when we inspected the car. It fires right up, and sounds like it did back in 1987. It runs and drives better than anyone would expect. The lights, horn, turn signals, etc. all work properly. The two tone paint still looks excellent. The chrome and bright work are in great condition, with the exception of very, very light pitting starting to show on the top of the front bumper. The previous owner had added a standard size tow hitch and wiring harness in the back. We decided to leave it there. We did add a new Interstate battery. The underside of the car shows the light typical surface rust that you would expect. No serious underside rust issues. Guys, this is surely one of the nicest, cleanest examples of a bone stock, low mile Conquista left anywhere. Opportunity to own one this clean may not happen again.
