1982 DATSUN 280ZX TURBO

 

Exotic Classics is proud to present this amazing time-warp 1982 Datsun 280ZX Turbo. This car is well-known among Z-car enthusiasts because it remains in virtually as-new condition with only 2,029 miles! This Datsun has never been damaged, never restored, and never been modified in any way. Featured in Silver with Grey velour interior, this Turbo is fitted with the Borg-Warner T-5 manual gearbox which was optional on the Turbo only for 1982-83. Contemporary road testers reported 0-60 in 7.4 seconds.

 

Nissan gave the 280ZX a face lift in 1982 with revised NACA ducting in the hood, new fifteen inch four-spoke alloys wheels for Turbo models, a revised B-pillar garnish, new pin-stripe style tail-lights, and rubber bumper over-riders replaced the earlier model's chrome and rubber items, the bumpers were now also body colored and wrapped around further. Interior changes were minor but included new seat trim styling. The 1982 model also was the first to offer the popular voice warning system, which warned the driver when headlights were left on after the vehicle was turned off, if the parking brake was on while the vehicle was in motion, and many others. This face-lifted model has since come to be called the "Series II" 280ZX. Power steering became standard with a new rack-and-pinion system.

Any claims or other communication regarding shipment of vehicles will be between you and the "Carrier" and not with us. The amount of time it takes for delivery depends upon the "Carrier" selected. A typical experience is 7-14 days from the date the vehicle is picked up from our facility until it is delivered to your destination. Fee and Tax Information:

New York buyers will be charged sales tax and licensing and processed on your behalf. Out of state buyers (including other countries), we will send title and you will be responsible for registration and taxes in your own state or providence. 

A non-refundable deposit of $2,000 is due within 24 hours of the auction close. The remaining balance is due within 7 days of the close of auction, unless other arrangements were made. Accepted payment methods are bank wire transfers, cashier's checks and money orders. If you wish to obtain financing, please do so ahead of time. We also reserve the right to verify any or all bids to ensure exceptional auction integrity.
