About the Vehicle

2007 was a redesign year for BMW's X5.  The X5 got more seats, power and size compared to the predecessor.  The exterior of the car was redesigned where the flanks of the vehicle seem a little less chiseled.  Interior styling was redesigned to mimic BMW's sedan series of vehicles.

With most German makes of vehicles, BMW didn't really deviate a lot from the previous generation of X5.  You'll find slight facelifts throughout the vehicle.  The headlights and air dam have a lot of styling inspiration from the 3 and 5 series.  You'll also find that the X5 has standard Xenon Headlamps that rotate several degrees during turns to better illuminate the corner you're barreling into.

The cabin of the X5 is similarly finished to most of BMW's current lineup with the prominent dashboard that abruptly descends towards the wood trim.  You'll find the system's computer sits right front and center which is operated by BMW's iDrive system.  Six programmable buttons on the center stack allow drivers to bypass iDrive for various functions.

The cargo area has an additional four inches of length compared to the 06 BMW X5.  You'll also find that the rear of the vehicle can be folded flat to leave 75.2 cubic feet of cargo volume that leads the pack in terms of volume.
