About Us


Sam Leman began his career as an automobile dealer in April 1963. Starting with eight employees, he transformed a Roanoke, Illinois, service station into a thriving Chevrolet dealership. At this location, he became downstate Illinois' largest Corvette dealer, selling some 100 Corvettes in 1969.

 

Sam was actively involved in the business until February 3, 1994, when he died in an automobile accident. The businesses are now owned and operated by Ben and Tim Leman, and their families. The Eureka store spun off to Sam's daughter Beverly and her husband Rich Bertschi in 1994. Third generation family members also became employed by the dealerships, extending the family tradition.

The next several years were spent solidifying our relationships with our customers and employees. Our 300+ employees are constantly striving to continue to be number 1 in central Illinois. Sam Leman LLC continues to focus on being an automotive force to the benefit of our customers and their families.

If not financing the vehicle, all payments must be made in the form of bank wire transfer unless agreed to in advance by . If a bank check, personal check or money order is used for payment, the check must clear before delivery is taken of purchased vehicle.

 



Fee and Tax Information:
We are a full service dealership, we can provide very competitive finance.no need to hassle with finding the best rate on your own. We have very strong relationships with the many of the top lenders in the U.S. and can almost always beat your banks best rate. We have an award winning professional business manager that will provide you with all of the options and information you need to make a wise and educated buying decision. We do not charge expensive service fees and there are no hidden costs when you purchase from us. Before delivery of your vehicle we will overnight you all of the documentation for your purchase. This documentation will outline the pricing agreement and all fees and taxes that are applicable. The only fees we charge are a $156.08 documentation fee (to cover the cost of overnight shipping and filing of tax paperwork, etc...) and $20 for a 14 day temporary tag if needed. These numbers will be agreed to and signed by both parties before we even deliver your vehicle. Again there are no hidden charges or mystery fees charged by our dealership!
