We started our business in January of 2000. Since then we have sold hundreds of cars all over the world. From having paperwork ready on time to having your car shipped to your door, we believe customer service is the key to our success. That demands a lot of trust from the buyer, and we have never let any customer down with delivering everything we promised.  We realize that buying a car sight unseen may be an uneasy experience, which is why we take the extra steps to insure you every detail will be handle professionally. We believe that purchasing a pre-owned vehicle should be an easy and satisfying experience for our customers. Our vehicles are accurately described, and our customer service is second to none. If you are financing the vehicle, please have it pre-approved before bidding. We can help locate possible financing options.

Once you bid you are entering a legal and binding contract to purchase the vehicle described. There are no bid retractions accepted within the final 24 hours of the auction.

We will not accept shill-bidding, bidders with excessive negative feedbacks, or unqualified bidders.

Garnett Motorcars reserves the right to cancel our auctions early for any reason at any time.

If you are unsure about the color of a vehicle, please use the VIN and call your local dealer for more specifics.

We accept money orders, cashiers checks, or wire transfers as forms of payment. We reserve the right to hold the title until cashiers checks clear our bank (5 to 7 days). We do not exchange a check for a title.

Texas residents must add all applicable sales tax and licensing fees to the final auction price. All out of state buyers see below.

Texas residents are also responsible for inventory tax, title fee, license fee, a documentary fee ($50.00), and an administration fee ($95.00).

Out of state buyers are only responsible for inventory tax and a documentary fee ($50.00), and an administration fee ($95.00). Inventory tax is calculated at .002764 or $27.64 for every $10000 of the purchase price.

We require a $500 non refundable deposit within 48 hours of the auction ending. Full payment must be complete within 5 days after the end of the auction. If payment terms are not followed as above, all contracts (ebay and Garnett Motorcars) are void.

The buyer is responsible for shipping arrangements and costs. Occasionally we can help arrange shipping.

All vehicles are sold "As Is". You have the option to purchase an extended warranty. Most of our vehicles qualify for an aftermarket warranty.

We do not accept escrow services. The vehicle must be paid in full before leaving our business. Buyer will be provided a temporary license plate that gives the buyer 21 days to register the vehicle. We reserve the right of the full 21 days to provide you with a title. We do not send titles to the buyer until paperwork is signed and in our possession.

We are not responsible for mistakes in the ad. We are only human and occasionally make an unintentional mistake. Please call or email to have any and all questions about the vehicle you are bidding on answered before you commit to purchasing.

All vehicles are sold in accordance with the laws of Texas. Any disputes arising from a vehicle transaction shall be settled in accordance with the laws of Texas, and will be tried in Harris County, Texas regardless of whether the vehicle was picked up in our showroom or delivered to your door.
