This vehicle was "born" as a 429 Super Cobra Jet Drag Pack car with an automatic transmission and a red "bench" interior. According to the Elite Marti Report (which is included in purchase), this car was a very rare vehicle. Over the years for reasons unknown, this car has gone through some tasteful and user friendly changes. The car STILL features a 429 Cobra Jet engine and still maintains the ORIGINAL heads. The car features a period and vehicle correct 4-speed transmission, which makes driving this "monster" an absolute blast! The SHAKER hood and hood tach set this car off for sure as well. Mechanically the car has been completely gone through and EVERYTHING works as it should. The engine compartment is detailed as well. The exterior of the vehicle shows very well and was recently painted the correct red. The paint shows very nicely and there is no visible flaws, bondo, or rust. The interior is like new and correct for the 1970 Torino. The bucket front seats are brand new and the rear seats show perfectly. The dash is in very good shape and the carpet is new as well.
