Up for sale we have a 1966 Chevy Nova Hard Top. The ’66 was the first year for the new body style with rounded fenders and a new longer tail light. The one we have for you is beautifully done in Tuxedo Black paint with Black Interior and Black Chrome Coys. The bottom of this Nova is one of if not the most solid Nova’s that we have ever seen. In the paragraphs to follow I will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of the Chevy, but first I would like to tell you a little about us.

Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. We don’t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that’s how we can sell for less than other dealers. We will start off with the exterior of the Nova. The body is very nice and laser straight great lines. It is covered in a slick Tuxedo Black paint that has been buffed and polished to a deep rich shine. Both of the doors, hood, and trunk open and close as they should leaving a good fit and finish of all the gaps. All the sheet metal looks to be factory with only an upgrade to the 2” Steel cowl hood. All the chrome and stainless is either new or like new. All the glass was removed with new seals being added at the time they were reinstalled. All the weather stripping was also replaced. The final exterior touch is the set of the 18” and 20” Black Chrome Coys.

Next, we will take a look at the interior of the ’66. The interior of the Nova is all done in the classic black and provides an excellent look that flows the entire car together. It has the factory bench seat that is covered in the correct style. The seats, carpet, door panels and headliner all look new or like new. It has a Hurst ProMatic floor shift. When you look at the dash it all looks correct with a new dash pad. It’s a radio delete dash that has had after market gauges added. It still retains the factory column and steering wheel.

Finally, we will take a look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood it has a fresh 383 Stroker that is mated to a 350 Turbo Trans and a 10 bolt rearend. The engine is dressed with a polished Intake and Edelbrock Carb. Also, it has polished aluminum valve covers and breather. The pulley was also upgraded to Aluminum with a chrome alternator and brackets. It has Headman Coated Headers with DyoMax Mufflers. It comes equipped with Power Disc Brakes. As I said earlier the bottom of this Nova is as solid as any we have ever seen. All the bushing as well as ball joints and tie rods also looks new.
