1962 Ford Thunderbird Convertible “Stunning Example of American Craftsmanship!!! ”

The Classic Car Gallery is proud to present this stunning 1962 Ford Thunderbird Convertible finished in RANGOON RED OVER BLACK leather. The car has clearly been restored, and remains in wonderful condition. She was stripped to bare metal and painted her correct original RANGOON RED in 2005 ($16,000!!!). The paint remains in excellent condition. She has her original 390ci 4 Barrel V8 mated to her original Ford Cruise-O-Matic and a 3.00 rear end. The engine boasts 300 horsepower at a 9.6 compression ratio. The interior is likewise in excellent condition, the seats were redone in Black Leather, and the carpets were replaced. The WHITE vinyl convertible top was replaced, and the top mechanism was restored. The top works as it should, and mechanical system is a sight to behold!!! The chrome is in excellent condition, as are the suspension and brakes. SHE HAS HER ORIGINAL TONNEAU COVER WITH HEADRESTS (not shown)!!! This must be one of the nicest third generation Thunderbirds on the market today. She has American Racing Kelsey-Hayes reproduction wire wheels shod in whitewall tires with plenty of tread. All mechanical and electrical systems work as they should, including all gauges and lights. She is a pleasure to drive, and runs as well as she looks.
