There is simply too much to list on this one! From the GORGEOUS Tuxedo Black paint to the Nasty 406 decked out with ported E-Tech Edelbrock heads this one is DONE!!! Fully suited for drag racing or with some bigger brakes this car would make an excellent Pro Touring car.

To start off with a super solid '70 was located and stripped to bare metal. The paint was done in Chevrolet's Tuxedo Black then wetsanded and buffed to a mirror finish. Take a good look at the photos, this is a very nice car. The door jams, trunk jams, hood trim area were all done right. The floors, quarters, doors, fenders, etc are all among the nicest rust free pieces we have seen. The bumpers were replaced of course along with a host of other trim panels. The bright work is nice as well. The previous owner spent a reported $15k on the body work then an additional $4500 to have the car sprayed using all PPG products.

To keep that beautiful body straight quality weld in sub-frame connectors were installed. These are the good units that fit through the floor. They have been perimeter welded and sealed. The installation looks factory. In the trunk you can easily see the metal artwork. The inner wheel houses were traded out with Mini Tubs from Detroit Speed. The rear shock towers were then braced with a Detroit Speed X-member. Take a look at the photos, these were installed by a true metal artist.

Inside the interior has been restored with a host of restoration quality components.The upholstery was brought up to shape with new carpet, door panels, headliner, dashpad and more. The factory gauges were all replaced with an excellent fitting aftermarket instrument bezel. It is filled with Autometer Sport Comp Gauges including the speedometer, tachometer, fuel, temp, volts & oil pressure. An additional Sport Comp Monster Tach with Shift Light were mounted up high for easy viewing while you are getting busy, as this car can be a handful for anybody. The bucket seats are quite comfortable and hold you in much better than the stock units. In between the seats a custom console houses the line lock control tastefully actuated by a lit rocker switch. 3-Point Retractable seat belts have been added for extra safety. A 4-Point roll bar was nicely installed adding the extra safety needed for a car with this power.

Under the hood is where the heart of this beast lives. A 400 block has been fitted with Manley Rods, SRP Forged Pistons with 10.3/1 compression, Comp Hydraulic Roller Camshaft, Comp Roller Rocker Arms, Fully Ported Edelbrock 200cc Aluminum Heads, Edelbrock Performer RPM Air Gap, Hooker Ceramic Coated Headers and more. March pulleys and brackets provide easy adjustments and just look good. An electric fan keeps the system cool. Full MSD ignition keeps the fire lit. The engine has low miles on the build. It fires up with serious authority and has the perfect Muscle Car Idle!!! This motor makes power everywhere and it just get better as the tach climbs. The 295's out back are simply no match for this monster.

Since automatics can be boring this Nova was fitted with a Tremec TKO 600 5 Speed. This Tremec shifts like a dream with nice, crisp & positive shifts. It can also handle all the power this engine makes, even when driven like the Devil himself intended. The installation was done correctly and the car will only start in neutral, a very nice safety feature and a testiment to the quality and thoroughness this car was built with. It is bolted to the engine via a Titanium Alloy Bellhousing. The clutch system is hydraulic with a 550 horsepower rating. An Aluminum Driveshaft was custom made for the car.

Out back a Currie 9+ Differential was built specifically for this car. The case is Currie's own heavy duty version of the 9". It uses high nodular iron with stiffening ribs. The carrier is a Track Lock fitted with 3.89 gears and 31 spline axles. The housing was built narrow to fit some big shoes in the mini-tubbed rear wheel wells.

The brakes were upgraded with Disc in the front. Out back a set of 11" drums were added. The factory brakes were only 9" to give you an idea of how much better these are.

With so much done to this car it is very easy to miss something in the description. Please take a good look at the photos and the videos. This is truly one of the nicest Novas we have seen. The receipts will be provided with the car to document the build.
