Please note that experience shows us that the photobucket of over 100 large pixel pictures posted here are in most cases best viewed and downloaded using the very latest and most updated version of the 'Firefox' browser as some other browsers and especially older browser versions are not capable of accommodating the size of the download. Over the years our clients have overwhelmingly been appreciative of our many unaltered large pixel photos posted in our ads and our feedback has been that it is very rare that a seller will post all but the most flattering of photographs. We prefer to expose the complete roll of film taken of the car, in sometimes unflattering but natural sunlight, in order for our prospective buyers to be able to see true and reliable images of the car advertised and that is the reason for some seemingly duplicated shots. We trust you will agree.

The 1968 DeVille was a large luxurious Cadillac and the last year of the classic 'stacked' dual headlights which were replaced by side-by-side dual headlights in 1969 and also the last year for vent windows. It had with no primary competition that could easily carry six people and in 1968 featured a new and larger 472/375HP V8 engine which proved so advanced that it would be the sole engine to power Cadillac's for the next 9 years. In 1969 it was restyled in the Eldorado image. These were the final years of the rear wheel drive Cadillac and amongst the best of the breed. The 1966 redesign brought handsome new curved sided styling and a stronger new full perimeter frame replacing the old X-member affair, with better engine mounts, a new four link rear suspension and the improved Turbo Hydramatic drive transmission with the result being that by 1968 Cadillac's had it best sales year yet! With these rare mid-late sixties models becoming increasingly thinned out now, these particular technologically advanced year models are now being appreciated by Cadillac enthusiasts more than ever before as an increasingly desirable and collectible and very rare Cadillac from some of its very best years ever!

This particular example is unique with its striking triple blue color combination of its original 'Arctic Blue' (color code 20) factory color paint, original Dark Blue Leather (Trim Code 366) color seats recently reupholstered, new dark blue carpets and trim and a relatively new matching blue color power soft top with a glass rear window and a matching blue parade tonneau cover. The car also has fairly new tires and brakes and a thick file of records documenting the cars previous 21 years service history by its most recent owner. The car has had no signs of any accidents - obviously an always cherished car since

The car drives as good as it looks, the 472/375HP V8 engine is extremely strong and powerful and sounds absolutely magnificent with the cars most recent long time owner spending over $20K in restoring and maintaining the car over the years as required using primarily only original parts with all receipts and documentation available.

This particular car therefore drives absolutely magnificently - it must really be seen and driven to be truly appreciated - does not miss a beat and purrs like a kitten - drives straight as an arrow with no strange road wobbles, shakes or rattles - a truly remarkable daily driver that will give any modern day car a run for it's money! The transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears and the car has four virtually new white wall tires. Please note that the car also has it's original spare wheel as previously stated and all the options are working as they should including all the power options of the windows and the top!

This is a rare opportunity to own a rare fully loaded and great daily driving example of a truly beautifully restored 1968 Cadillac DeVille Convertible, a super striking example in this classic triple blue color with original 'Arctic Blue' factory color paint with a matching dark blue leather interior and a blue top which is the perfect car for the Cadillac enthusiast to add to any collection or simply a great daily driving and turn-key ready example of one very fine 1960's all American legendary classic car for any classic American classic car collector!
