Recently purchased this Maxima from an insurance company as a victim of light FRESH water intrusion. This vehicle is NOT from the recent hurricane Sandy. Neither the engine or transmission fluids had signs of water contamination but we drained and refilled them anyway as a precaution we do with all of our vehicles that come in contact with water. Next, we completely disassembled the interior, the seats and carpet came out, thoroughly wiped down the interior, and then left the vehicle open to completely air dry for one week.

This Maxima runs and drives perfectly, the engine is strong and transmission shifts smoothly. Inside the seats, radio, mirrors, A/C and heat are all working properly (see pictures of buttons on and off.) The windows, sunroof and trunk are all opening and closing correctly. There are no warning lights on the instrument cluster either. This car does not have any mold mildew or foul odors that are usually associated with "flood" vehicles.

It has already passed the PA Enhanced Safety Inspection and we should have the Reconstructed Title in any day now. With a Reconstructed Title you will be able to drive this Maxima home on a temporary tag with a license and proof of insurance. Similar vehicles are selling for over $30,000.
