This is a solid 1955 Ford Customline Four Door Sedan.  It is currently registered and insured in California with a clear California title in my name.

The car has an older restoration that received an extensive makeover at some time in the past.  The restoration is starting to show some age, but overall the car is in good condition and ready for cruising or bringing to car shows.

I recently gave it a complete tune up with new  spark plugs, plug wires, points, condenser, and rotor.  I also rebuilt the carburetor and changed the oil, filter and antifreeze.  The brakes are in good condition, and the 6-Volt Battery is brand new.  The car runs very well!  The motor has solid lifters and you can hear them at an idle.

The Customline is equipped with a 3-speed column shift manual transmission.  It is also equipped with an overdrive unit, but it still needs some sorting out to become functional.  The transmission shifts smoothly and the clutch operates fine.  The motor is a 272 Y Block V-8 motor that runs fine.

The suspension parts appear to be a bit worn, as the shocks and some of the rubber bushings could be due for replacement.  Underneath, the frame, floors and body look very solid without rusting issues.  The body itself is also in good condition, but there are some areas of surface rust that can be detected in some place under the paint.  The most noticeable rust is in some areas around the roofline...does not appear to be major, but could be addressed at some time in the future.

The radio, clock and horn are not working at this time, but the heater, wiper, lights, turn signals and accessories are in working order.  The car needs a bit more sorting out to become fully functional.

Here are a couple of recent videos of the car:

Overall, this is a very solid and attractive car that is ready for its new owner that will spend some time with her!

Personal inspections by yourself or your representative are welcomed.

You will receive a clean California title in my name (not a flipped title) upon full payment.  Shipping and Pick-Up is the Buyer's responsibility.

A $500 deposit is due via Paypal at the end of the auction, and the remainder must be wire transferred or paid by cashier's check within 24 hours of the close of the auction.

Please contact me if you have any questions.  I would be glad to talk to you about the car!

For overseas, I am 40 miles from the Port of Oakland, and you could do a Roll-On/Roll-Off shipment out the LA port, but you would need to have the car hauled about 400 miles to LA.
