Very classy 1973 Buick Riviera "Boat Tail" Hard Top Coupe. Excellent, rust free staraight body. Nice shiny paint finish, one time refinished in the original shade of burnt coral. The original matching #'s big block 455 cubic inch 4 bbl engine runs like a clock with very low miles on it. It's quiet and very smooth but don't let the tame sounding exhaust fool you. This engine has tons of torque and has lot's of life left. The transmission passing gear and 4bbl carb make the engine wake up. It takes off like a jet running down the runway. What a classy and elegant looking body style. The body's belt line dips down and curve around the rear wheel openings and the long hood gives the car a luxurious look. The interior is for the most part all original and very well preserved. The woodgrain dash and the console are excellent, the gauges, dash pad, and door panels also very nice. The carpet may be original but is holding well with no wear or rips. The headliner is nice as are the visors and mirror. The package tray in the rear is also very nice. It has been garaged so no shrinking or sun fade as many of these cars with giant rear windows are likely to have. The engine compartment is extra clean and shows that the previous owner was proud of his investment, not allowing the engine compartment to gather grime or sludge. The trunk compartment is also very clean. The under side of this beauty is all original and extra clean. not even any surface rust. rockers, trunk pan, suspension all in great shape. Brakes recently serviced. The engine, transmission and rear axle are dry. no leaks, no burning smells etc. All lights and gauges working. The only feature that I noticed to be inoperable is the radio. These Boat Tails have been popular for years but have recently caught the eye of many baby boomer investors.
