This is a very nice 1988 XJ-S. The car has somewhat over 27,000 miles. I recently went through the car and serviced everything that needed it: New Water Pump New Belts Oil Flush and Change Brake Fluid Transmission Fluid Flushed and changed. Ignition upgraded from dual-coil to single coil changed the fuel filter and addressed some annoying issues with sending units to dashboard cluster. The car has minimal surface rust in a few small areas, but generally rust free, absolutely no penetration or lower side rust whatsoever, due to the miles I'm sure. Car also needs a headliner, but they're available as replicas right here on eBay, or can be done by any competent upholsterer for even less. The wood veneer is bad in spots but not all spots, restoration kits are also available here on eBay for less than $150.00. This is a nice car that is driven by me frequently. It's inspected in PA till 3/14 but only has about a thousand miles since the state inspection so it'll pass the next one easy enough. This is a super-nice car that I've worked on a bit to put into great shape. Could be driven daily relatively drama-free, runs very cool, lots of sweet V-12 goodness: 65 MPH is around 2,000 RPM and if you give it a stomp, it pins you to your seat. Not a sports-car as much as an English version of an Eldorado. I have other Jags that I'm currently driving and using and don't want to use this one through the NE winter season. If you've always loved these cars or have already had them, this is the one you want.

I reserve the right to cancel this sale early due to local advertising and several bidders who want to come see/drive the vehicle.

A number of active bidders on this item have asked me to add more pictures, specifically focusing on the interior and few minor rust spots on the vehicle. None of the rust is penetration, and all of it is actually focused around where the manufacturer used some kind of sealant between body panels. I shot them with my digital SLR so you can zoom in really deep. Here's the link: http://sdrv.ms/1jYIeV6 Since the time is short on this auction, if you have any questions feel free to contact me on my personal cell phone 775-450-1089 The vehicle is in Northeast PA (Zip 18644).
