If you have been thinking of restoring an antique truck, you know what it costs to do a restoration like this not to mention the hundreds of hours involved ! We just purchased this truck from the  previous - older - Wyoming owner and as you can clearly tell in the pictures it was his pride and joy for sure !! This 1946 Ford Pickup recently went through a COMPLETE - FRAME OFF - restoration and it was done right !! Many thousands of dollars and hours were spent on building this custom pickup, just look at this thing !! This is a NICE - SOLID - DRY - ALL AMERICAN STEEL - Wyoming - Idaho high mountain desert - Western truck that runs and drives VERY WELL ! This GORGEOUS 1946 Ford 1/2 Ton Pickup is a definite eye catcher. It has what appears to be the STRONG - ORIGINAL - 239 CID - "8BA" - Flathead motor in it and running very well indeed. The motor also retains it's ORIGINAL Intake manifold, ORIGINAL exhaust manifolds, ORIGINAL "FoMoCo" 1 barrel carb with manual choke and the ORIGINAL "oil bath" air cleaner housing. The motor is backed by a - SMOOTH - three speed - "3 on the Tree" - transmission that also functions well. This pickup still retains its - FORD FACTORY ORIGINAL -  correctly mounted firewall mounted data plate and glove box mounted data plate, both of which are shown in two pictures below. The BEAUTIFUL two tone  Burgundy and Black vinyl interior is in VERY NICE condition with a VERY NICE  Black vinyl bench seat, VERY NICE Black vinyl headliner, VERY NICE Black vinyl driver's sunvisor, VERY NICE Original style black rubber floor mat, VERY NICE Burgundy dash, VERY NICE Ford steering  wheel and VERY NICE Original gauge clusters. All of the rubber weatherstripping is soft, supple and in NICE condition. This pickup comes well equipped with a factory manual choke, power electric  wiper, good glass, dual chrome oversized side view exterior mirrors, a factory gauge package, brand new full size spare tire and working front and rear turn signal indicators for modern street legal driving in all states. This truck is a great running and good looking ALL STEEL - NICE - DRY - SOLID -  Wyoming - Idaho high mountain desert - western truck. This vehicle is in nice mechanical condition and it runs and drives VERY WELL. It is solid with respect to the overall mechanical condition as well as the overall cosmetic impression.
