This is a 1990 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 with 46,262 original miles on the odometer.  The car is finished in red with a complementary black targa roof and trademark ZR-1 red leather interior.  This car is in fantastic condition.

This is one of the most desirable Corvettes ever built, the ZR-1. General Motors and Lotus worked together to produce this early 1990's supercar with Lotus modifying the standard Corvette engine of the time and adding four overhead camshafts with 32 valves and two separate intakes. Lotus also helped General Motors with designing the suspension of the ZR-1, casing the car  to have the world renown handling of a Lotus car. This partnership resulted in the fastest Corvette ever at the time, with a 0-60 mph time of just 4.2 seconds and a top speed of 180 mph. 

Aside from the engine, suspension, and obvious ZR-1 badges there are several other characteristics that distinguish the ZR-1 from other Corvettes. The first is the glass Tara roof that can be removed from the car and locked in behind the front seats. The ZR-1 also has wider tires in order to put down all of its power on the road, with 315's in the rear. The seats in this ZR-1 are also highly distinguishable with all red leather and bolsters that can move inwards or outwards depending on how fast the driver chooses to take corners!

When released, the ZR-1 was in such a high demand that Chevy dealers were able to charge a substantial premium to the individuals that purchased these cars. This car in particular had an original price of $60,290 with all options, however it was sold for $87,500, a $27,000 premium back in 1990! 

This is one of the most well designed and equipped Corvettes of all time. It is only fitting that this car was finished in red on red leather. The only aftermarket touches on this car are the chromed wheels, which are the original 1990 ZR-1 wheels finished in chrome and the brake ducts on the lower front fascia, which help cool the brakes.
