Up for sale we have a 1973 Dodge Challenger. The Challenger was only built from 70’74. It was built on the E body platform along with the Cuda. The one we have for you has had a full face lift. In the paragraphs to follow we will give you a brief description of the exterior, interior, and driveline of the Dodge, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.

Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned and operated business that owns our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. We don’t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that’s how we can sell for less than other dealers. We will start off with the exterior of the Challenger. The body is straight with good lines. The fit of the panels are very good. Everything is covered in the Slick Orange paint that is accented by the Black stripes, hood scoop, and wing. Everything has been buffed and polished to a deep rich shine. The bumpers appear to be new. All the stainless around the windows looks good but is not new. The windows roll up and down as they should. The final exterior touch is the set of 18” and 20” American racing wheels and new tires.

Next, we will take a look at the interior of the ’73. It all looks fresh with the correct bucket seats and console. The seats, carpet, and headliner all look new with the door panels and dash being nice. When you look at the dash it all looks correct with only the radio being changed.

Finally, we will take a look at the driveline of the Dodge. Under the hood it has a 318 that is mated to a 904 Automatic Trans and 8 ¾ Rear End. The engine is dressed with factory valve covers and breather. It has the factory manifolds with new flow master exhaust. Also it has factory power steering and power disc brakes. This is a factory AC car that is not all there. The bottom of this car is solid with some pan work but they did a nice job. Also, they installed a new fuel tank at the time of the resto.
