    1965 PONTIAC GTO

     

    Washington State

     

    This is a very clean and nice driver quality 1965 GTO with a 421 YH code power plant and the correct 4 speed manual transmission. I bought this car from an owner that had her for the last 21 years. This is a very solid example and if you want to take one to the next level then this would be an excellent start.

     

    The body on this car is really straight with only minor imperfections. The paint has a lot of shine but has some wear around the edges and some very minor paint chips on the trunk lid. I plan to touch her up before she leaves Washington. IF you want a show car then a repaint is in order. If you want a driver that looks excellent from 15 feet, then this is already there. The chrome and trim are in great shape. Nothing but the mildest of surface rust on this car. She is real solid. The floors and trunk are rock solid.

     

    The 421 is a "65 motor and the tri-power was added. The car has sat more then been driven in the last ten years but she fires up and when warm does excellent. I am going to get her dialed in before she leaves as I have a great Pontiac mechanic. I will replace the air filters as well, they are on order.

    The interior is original and in real fine shape. The odometer says 65k so I assume it has rolled but the interior sure looks like it has not. The seats, headliner, dash and door panels are very clean with no serious imperfections. EVERYTHING WORKS IN THE INTERIOR!

     

    Bottom line, this is a top ten American Muscle car and she has all the all the right options. KEEPER!
