1961 Chrysler 300G 2 Door Coupe - Ultra Rare and Soooo Cool

I am pleased to offer this 1961 Chrysler 300G 2 Door Hardtop.  These are a rare blend of performance and styling that epitomized late 50s' and early 60's auto design.  Of the 1280 hardtops produced, it is estimated that only approx. 340 remain today.  Truly rare by any standards.

VIN 8413145340.  Mileage shows 97,XXX +/- although mileage is exempt.

This car is powered by a 413 cubic-inch Wedge-Type engine that offers 375 horsepower and 495 foot-pounds of torque. It has two 4-barrel carburetors and a 10:5 compression ratio. The engine is mated to a three-speed automatic gearbox with cast-iron transmission and Sure-Grip differential with 3.23 gears.  It is argued among auto experts that this car was the genesis of the muscle car movement.

Factory options per the window sticker include:

This car is very nicely presented in black with tan leather interior (tan leather was the only interior color option).  This car is heavily optioned (see above) but does not include air condition and power swivel seat (seat swivels but is not power).  Very solid underside.  Car drives tremendously strong with lots of torque.  The owner notes that the car could drive across country at 80 mph and it would be a real joy ride.

Owner added the correct OEM restored Hickok seatbelts (with correct labels) to enhance the look and safety of this car (cost of $600).

Owner notes that the radio and power antenna are not working.  Also notes that the paint is primarily original and has scratches and nicks from 52 years of use.  Bumpers were re-chromed years ago and all stainless is in very good condition.  Tail light bezels show some wear.  Jack not included.

I have not personally inspected or photographed this Chysler.  I am relying on the pictures and descriptions provided by the seller.  I have sold many classic cars for this seller and he is very particular and meticulous when he buys and sells a car.  He only buys and sells very high quality classic cars.

The vehicle is located in Long island, NY.  An inspection is welcomed and encouraged.  Feel free to contact me to make arrangements.

Take advantage of proxy bidding: Don't loose the vehicle at the last minute! There have been many people who have lost bids in the past because they were not familiar with proxy bidding. When you bid, bid the maximum amount that you are willing to spend on the vehicle. Each time someone bids higher than your last bid, eBay will automatically increment your bid by the minimum bid amount until it reaches your maximum. Don't get stuck loosing a good deal!
