 No one expected Pontiac to close its doors by "governement support” in 2009. SLP had negotiated and slated to build 250 supercharged G8’s for Pontiac in 2009. SLP could only build 20 of the G8 GT's before it was over. A collector snatched up a majority of these fine cars before they came to market. This makes them even more rare since only a few of the 1 of 20 will ever be in circulation. With supply low and controlled you need to take advantage of the opportunity when it rarely comes available. I have only seen one other G8 GT Firehawk sell on the open market since 2009. This is car #1 of these cars. Documented and still in relatively fresh condition at only 250 miles. It is capable of being driven accross the country as well as placed in a well deserved prestigious museum.
