You are bidding on a 1978 Chevrolet Silverado K10 4 Wheel Drive Fleetside Short Bed Pickup. This is a Real Sharp Truck, mostly original, Painted Factory Mariner Blue, Original Silverado Option Interior. Powered by a 6.6 Liter 400 Cubic Inch Small Block V8 with a Turbo 350, 3 Speed Automatic Transmission. All new Dual Exhaust. A Great Performer, gets up and moves. Transmission shifts are crisp and solid. Exhaust is clean not an oil burner. Passed California Smog testing with flying colors.

The Bench Seat has been reupholstered in the past and has a small tear in Drivers side Panel and seat edge. Carpets are Original and could use replacement. Dash is Original with a couple of small cracks in Dash Cap. Gauge Panel is Original with Speedometer, Odometer, Fuel, Oil Pressure, Volts and Clock all in working order. A/C, Vents, Controls and Heater are all in working order. A/C has been completely reconditioned. All Lights, Horn, Wipers, Cigarette Lighter Dual Tank Switch are in working order. Steering Column is Tilt with Stock Steering Wheel all in good working condition, Tilt is solid. No Radio. Windshield has a small crack other than that all other glass in good condition. Door gaskets and seals are in good condition.

The Body is in very good condition. Straight and Accident Free. Paint is in Good Condition Painted Mariner Blue Base Coat, Clear Coat which is free of cracking and pealing. Chrome is in excellent/new condition Front Bumper, Rear Bumper and Grill are all new. All the Trim and Side Moldings are straight and in like new condition. Stainless, Emblems and Badges are all in very good condition. Truck Bed is in excellent condition rarely used for anything other than light hauling and protected for most of its life with a Camper Shell removed recently. All other Trim such as Mirrors, Tailgate Protector, etc. is in excellent/very good condition. All in all this is one 4X4 that has not been abused. Engine Compartment is in original condition with all necessary smog equipment in place and functional as stated above. At the corners are Alcoa 15X9 Aluminum Wheels with Dunlop Radial Rover Tires 33X12.5 in excellent condition.

The Suspension has been raised using Rancho Suspension components, upgraded shocks. New 33” Tires etc. Also note that both front and rear differentials now include finned Alloy Covers for increased cooling. Truck Drives Straight with no freeway wonder or drift. Solid and Rattle free.

Completely serviced and inspected July 2013 which Includes the following service and repairs listed below.

Inspect under hood (air filter,tune up, belts, hoses and all fluid levels)

Inspect Suspension, Steering, Exhaust and Undercarriage. Inspect all external lights and repair as necessary. Test Battery and battery cable connections. Check all other fluid levels.

Inspect Brakes, Tires and service as required.

Intake Manifold Gaskets, Water Inlet Gasket and Thermostat, Clean EGR Ports

Carburetor Gasket

Differential and Transfer Case fluids changed. Gaskets replaced, Add limited slip additive

Engine Oil and Filter changed

Transmission Fluid, Filter and Gasket changed

Replaced All Burned Out Lights including Dash Lights

Inspect proper window operation, replaced drivers window motor and Gear Assembly

Replaced A/C Compressor, Accumulator, Hose Manifold Set, Orfice Tube; flush,evacuate and recharge

Clean Engine and Engine compartment

Replaced Transfer Case Mounts, Engine Mounts

Replaced Steering Box

Replaced Tie Rod ends and Upper and Lower Ball Joints

Aligned Front End

Replaced Heater Hose
