Even after 70-plus years, this Model B is a true survivor as an all-steel ’34 five-window deluxe coupe. We purchased this unmolested ’34 from an 82-year old gentleman who lovingly cared for the car throughout the last eight years! The Model B wasn’t just an improvement for Henry Ford; it was a completely new model launched in 1932. The Model B marked a milestone in American automotive history: the Flathead V8 engine was standard, making it the first mass-produced V8 motor available. At the time of production, Ford had 32 U.S. plants from Florida to Oregon. Changes to the 1934 make of the Model B were a flatter grille, smaller headlights and a redone logo. The horsepower was increased to a then-whopping 85. There were 14 body styles available to the ’34 Model B. Deluxe models had pinstriping, dual chrome horns and twin backlights. The interior was upgraded with more wood graining. MotoeXotica is proud to announce our newest acquisition with this ’34 Ford Model B deluxe — the Holy Grail of ’30s Fords. We have acquired this pinnacle of American automotive history from a long-term private collection, and its beauty is magnified by its originality, correctness and age. It is a very solid car from top to bottom with no signs of rust or repair. It is truly difficult — if not impossible — to find a ’34 five-window that has not been hot-rodded or restored. The bright sun will glisten and contrast on the dark blue exterior paint and original chrome accents. The paint appears to have been restored sometime in the 1950s or ‘60s. The aging checking of the paint beautifully shows the endurance of this vehicle. This car sits upon the correct ’34 Ford wire wheels with wide whitewall tires and correct, rear-mounted spare tire. This car comes with front and rear turn signals, a standard for the ’34 deluxe model. The wheelbase is 112 inches, and the suicide doors give this pre-WWII classic another unique feature. There are original dual chrome horns next to the flat grille. Recent $2,200 in receipts for maintenance makes this 1934 road-worthy. The interior is truly a sign of history. The upholstery, door panels and dash appear original to the vehicle. The wear of the interior woodwork on the passenger windowsill is almost 80 years’ worth of passengers comfortably resting their arms out the window. In regards to windows, this five-window coupe has the incredible feature of a back window one can roll down to let in extra breeze on a Sunday drive. A classy, elegant yet strong deluxe coupe, MotoeXotica’s 1934 Ford Model B is sure to garner some much appreciated attention. Don’t miss your opportunity to own and drive this historic and last make overseen by Henry Ford. This car’s VIN is 18535269, and current mileage reads 7,331. GET OUT AND DRIVE!
