1987 Volkswagen Vanagon Syncro 4x4 with a rare Tiico Conversion, which is the inline 4 cylinder VW engine(like an old Jetta/GTi). This gives the Vanagon about 20 more HP and makes service a LOT easier/cheaper, and makes tackling hills EASY!! The odometer shows 201k miles but the swap was done about 10 years ago. Not many miles on the swap/engine. Runs/Drives nice. Esthetically this is no show queen and we would safely say it's presentable and would be a great driver/winter vehicle or restoration candidate. Body is pretty decent with a few scrapes/minor dents and couple minor small rust spots, but overall not too bad and not much corrosion at all. The paint actually shines/looks great in most places and only has some fade on the roof (nobody can see it).We are told it was a West Coast vehicle most of it's life and looking at it closely we would agree. Interior is in fairly decent condition showing normal wear with no tears in any of the seats. The majority of the headliner is very nice with the exception of the rear interior side panels which show wear/tears (where the washer fluid lines are). Underside is pretty clean showing very little corrosion. Needs nothing major mechanically and can be driven right now, but I would expect minor things to be addressed over time. The A/C and Power Steering components are intact. It drives great without the use or  need of the power steering in our opinion. Handles great in town and on the highway! The blower/heat works great! Tires are like new! Was converted to round H4 headlights/grill for superior lighting to the stock 1987 rectangular ones! VW cassette stereo is there and appears to just need wired. Wipers, lights and horn all work as they should. Perfect winter vehicle!!
