1989 Jaguar XJS Coupe: 33,482 miles - 5.3 liter 12-cylinder, 3-speed automatic transmission, power assisted 4-wheel ABS disc brakes, A/C and heat climate control, power windows, central locking, power steering, heated & lumbar seating, cruise control, rear defroster, 3-way adjustable front bucket seats, 16" Wire wheels, wood dash trim and doors.

Exterior Condition: The paint is in excellent condition. The exterior rubber and chrome are all in great original condition. All the glass is in excellent condition as well. The Chrome detailing is shiny and has no wear. This XJS is one very nice, low mileage example. It spent its life in Tennessee, a much more temperate climate than here in Chicago. The wire wheels were an expensive factory option and compliment the XJS very well.

Interior Condition: The leather is in excellent shape and wonderfully preserved, free of ant rips, tears, fading, etc.  The dash is in excellent condition with no cracks and all the wood trim is nice and crack free and the center console has been redone with a perforated leather, which looks almost factory. The carpet is in perfect condition and without any stains rips or fading. The door panels are perfect and so is all hardware. Overall the interior is in outstanding original condition and extremely clean and comfortable. The photos are very clear and accurate.  Floor mats are very clean as seen in the photos. The headliner is new.

Mechanical Condition: Mechanically this car is outstanding and it drives beautifully. Please see list below of work we had done at our european specialist mechanic shop.

Suspension is smooth and comfortable, free of any clunks or rattles. The 3-speed automatic transmission shifts strong and smooth in all gears. The engine in this car performs beautifully with nice power and torque and no hesitation, what you would expect from the Jaguar 12-cylinder engine with only 33k miles. The engine doesn't blow any smoke whatsoever, it runs clean, starts right up very easily and sounds, as it should, buttery smooth.

There are no leaks in the exhaust and it is smooth running at all speeds. The brakes are strong. The A/C has been converted to R134A refrigerant. This car has many years of trouble free motoring to come. Fly in and drive home.
