Up for sale we have a 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback. This was the first year of a new body style. It had an all new look with a new grill and tail lights. They also changed the inside with a new dash and console. The one we have for you is a very nice car that has a ton of eye appeal and is good little driver on the open road. In the paragraphs to follow I will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and driveline of the Ford, but first I would like to tell you a little about us.

Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. We don’t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that’s how we can sell for less than other dealers. We will start off with the exterior of the Mustang. It has a laser straight body that shows very well. All the panels fit well with good gaps. The body is covered in Wimbledon White Paint that is accented by the Night Mist Blue Metallic stripes that has a deep rich shine. At the time of the resto it looks like they replaced the bumpers as well as other chrome. The stainless looks factory but it is in very good shape. The weather stripping was also replaced as well as the window rubbers. The final exterior touch is the set of Torque Thrust Wheels on the corners.

Next, we will take a look inside the ’67. It’s all done in the correct Two Tone Blue that provides the perfect complement to the exterior scheme. With this being a 2+2 it has the fold down rear seat. The seats carpet door panels all look very good. This is a console car and it is correct. When you look at the dash the only that is not factory is the radio that was upgraded to a vintage AM FM.

Finally, we will take a look at the driveline of the Ford. Under the hood it has a 289 V8 that is mated to a Top Loader 4 speed and a 8” Rear End. The engine has Shelby Valve Covers and a Chrome Breather. It’s a factory 2 Barrel that has been upgraded to a Holley. The exhaust retains the Manifolds but the mufflers were upgraded to Flows. When you look under the stang all the floors and frame rails look solid.
