1961 Ford Fairlane 500 Galaxie

Today we are proud to offer a very rare automobile, this 1961 Ford is certainly one of the very few that remain. As the photos will demonstrate, you are viewing a very desierable black Galaxie 2 door hardtop. This car has never been restored. Everything appears to be original including the paint and the interior. It is nicely equipped with an automatic and a V8.  This vehicle will require a complete restoration, please assume that every aspect of this vehicle will need to be addressed. The following are the answers to the questions that you will ask. First we have no information concerning the serviceability of the engine transmission or rear. Second yes the car has rust in all the usual places, the extent of which we cannot predict. It appears that the rusted areas are repairable and a visual inspection shows the frame to appear to be solid. Please study the photographs  as they will give an accurate description of the automobile.  When restored, this Galaxie will be a wonderful addition to any collection.

 

This Vehicle will be sold with a notarized bill of sale, since NO TITLE is available.

  THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT.  PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:  The terms and conditions of the transactions are as follows:  Successful high bidder should contact us within 24 hours after the auction has ended to make arrangements to complete the transaction.  Within 24 HOURS following the end of the auction, a $500.00 down payment shall be received in the form of cashiers-check, certified funds, money orders cash or BANK WIRE TRANSFER IS PREFERED, COST INCLUDED IN DOC FEE.   If a down payment  is not received, and an alternate arrangement has not been made, the vehicle can be made available to other potential buyers, both locally and to eBay bidders, on a first come first serve basis.  All financial transactions should be completed within 7 DAYS after auction ends. We have disclosed as much information as possible and we welcome buyer's inspection.  If you plan to have a buyer's inspection, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU INSPECT THE VEHICLE BEFORE YOU PLACE A BID.  Seller accepts cashiers-check, certified funds, or "drafts" from known financial institutions, and cash. Pennsylvania buyers will pay sales tax and registration. Out -of - State buyers will be responsible to pay applicable taxes in own states. We do not ship cars. Buyers are responsible for shipping only.  We reserve the right to cancel this auction at any time at our discretion.  Furthermore, we shall not be liable for any such cancellation for any reason. Fee and Tax Information:
Out of state residents do not pay any sales tax in PA.  A $159.00 fee will be added to the final sale price of each online transaction, which will cover document preparation, listing, and maintenance fees. Temporary Transit Tags for our out of state buyers are available for additional $75.00, which will provide valid registration in all states for 30 days.     In order to obtain this tag ,you will need proof of insurance for any vehicle that you presently own.   There will be a storage fee of $9.99 per day if the vehicle is not being picked up with 10 regular days after the auction ends.By placing a bid on this vehicle you are entering into a legal and binding contract to purchase the above-described vehicle.
