Loaded with factory equipment including 327 Turbo Fire 4bbl V8 (L30 275HP), Power-Glide Automatic, Air Conditioning, Power Steering, Power Brakes and Power Windows. Resting on a very solid and clean body off restoration by the current owner of 13+ years with known prior California ownership... The body off restoration of this Fremont, California (Z) built El Camino began with total disassembly of the vehicle. All body parts were sand blasted to bare metal, individually block sanded and all body work done piece by piece, primed & painted, the inside of body parts were under coated so car will last many years. Nothing overlooked, original bed chrome (re-plated), original stainless bed rails (professionally polished) and glass. The tan exterior finish is "close-to" the factory (TT Sandalwood Tan) with four coats of quality PPG single stage paint... The chassis/frame refinished in a semi-gloss black finish, the fuel tank was glass beaded and finished in satin-clear coat. Every attempt was made to use the original bolts/hardware with many of them glass beaded, blued or clear coated. The inner fenders were undercoated before installation, rear-end removed, glass beaded and all new control arms bushings welded in. All new/rebuilt suspension components and braking system... The L30 275HP 327 4bbl Turbo Fire V8 engine (Suffix Code F0203EC) has been rebuilt to specifications including forged pistons 40 over, rebuilt original cylinder heads, 202 stainless steel intake valves, oversized stainless exhaust valves, hardened valves seats, new valve guides/seals, blue printed, new dual exhaust, radiator and "serviced" O.E.M 2 speed power glide automatic trans & differential... The interior includes all new rubber stripping, updated black head liner/door panels/dash pad, re-upholstered bench seat, new tan carpet with padded sound proofing, original asphalt underlayment interior, original un-restored dash trim...
