MotoeXotica Classic Cars presents a one-of-a-kind custom hot rod in our showroom. Our pristine 1934 Ford custom hot rod (Cabriolet replica) was purchased by former Walgreens CEO L. Daniel Jorndt. The car is still titled in his name and coincides with his retirement from the pharmacy giant in 2003.

The body of this hot rod is based off the Ford Model B. The Model B wasn’t just an improvement for Henry Ford; it was a completely new model launched in 1932. The Model B marked a milestone in American automotive history: the Flathead V8 engine was standard, making it the first mass-produced V8 motor available. At the time of production, Ford had 32 U.S. plants from Florida to Oregon.

Changes to the 1934 make of the Model B were a flatter grille, smaller headlights and a redone logo. The horsepower was increased to a then-whopping 85. There were 14 body styles available to the ’34 Model B. Deluxe models had pinstriping, dual chrome horns and twin backlights. The interior was upgraded with more wood graining.

While having the Holy Grail of ‘30s Fords would be a feat in itself, MotoeXotica has your opportunity to own a custom Ford hot rod in excellent overall condition with our latest showroom addition: a 1934 Ford custom hot rod (Cabriolet replica).

Under the hood of this hot rod is a 350-CID crate motor capable of producing 300 HP. The tires are matching center-lined radial Hoosiers. Jorndt retired in January 2003, and this title of this car has his purchase date of May 17, 2003. Could this have been a retirement gift for Jorndt? Now, it has found its way to our showroom in St. Louis where it waits for its next owner.

The front tire specs are: 25x7.5 R15; rear is 25x12.5 R15. This will help you coast down an open stretch of road on a sunny afternoon or at a calm twilight. The transmission is automatic, and only 800 miles have been traveled since new!

The exterior is a fiberglass body and the color is a gorgeous two-tone Root Beer and Sandstone with a tasteful pinstripe that looks like it was done yesterday. The pinstriping adds a little personality to this hot rod. Both vinyl hard and soft cloth tops are included and in excellent condition for this hot rod. Both are matching in color, and the boot fits snugly for the soft top should a driver want to let the sunshine in on a brisk afternoon drive. The rear end is a Ford 9 inch. There are suicide doors, standard for a ’34 Model B body. The dual chrome headlights are the correct ones for a ’34 Ford as well.

The high quality Sandstone vinyl seats are custom tailored for this vehicle, and the gauges are Dolphin. These Dolphin gauges measure the oil pressure, water temperature, odometer, fuel and volts. The modern interior compliments the updated yet retro exterior. There is vintage A/C as well if you’re partial to warmer climates.

This agreement to arbitrate shall survive the sale of the automobile described herein. Buyer and Seller hereby agree that Missouri law shall control for all purposes under this Bill of Sale. Buyer and Seller hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts of Missouri to specifically enforce the agreement to arbitrate and to enter judgment of and enforce the award of the arbitrator. All above terms and conditions are applied to vehicle sales, whether through Ebay or otherwise. Sorry, but in all fairness to the bidding process, I will NOT disclose my reserve price until the auction has ended.

Payment Terms
Payment must be made by Cashiers Check, Money Orders or Wire Transfers payable in US Dollars. A Refundable deposit in the amount of $500.00 must be received within Twenty-Four(24)hours of the auctions close either by Master Card, Visa or PayPal. The buyer has seven(7) days from close of auction to inspect the vehicle. If the vehicle is not to your liking within this seven day inspection period then your deposit will be refunded 100%. If an inspection or decision takes longer then seven days and you find the vehicle not to your liking, your deposit will be forfeited and the car will be relisted. Final payment must be received within ten (10) days of the auction close. The refundable deposit only applies if you or an agent inspect said vehicle in St. Louis and find it not to your liking. I will not be responsible for buyers remorse or problems found to said vehicle once they have left my property. I am just being realistic, most of the cars I deal in are vintage and by their very nature will need TLC and some degree of attention sooner or later. These are not new cars and should not be treated as such. Once full payment has been received, Seller will fax a copy of clear title, Bill of sale, Buyers guide and additional DMV forms to the Buyer to sign and return via fax. The forms must be returned to the Seller prior to the shipment of said vehicle. Original paperwork will be sent to Buyer Via overnight mail seven(7)days from date of final payment. Transportation will commence only after final payment and signed documentation are received. Once a car is picked up from our premises, you will NOT be able to return the car.

Overseas shipments will be placed into a steel container for safe sea passage. We take care of all the details and paperwork. All you have to do is collect the car at port and enjoy!
