Up for sale we have a 1955 Chevy Bel Air 2 Door Post. This is a true piece of American history. This was the first year that Chevy offered a V8 engine and it had a whole new look. The one we have for you has had a complete Frame Off Restoration done with just over 5000 on it since the time of resto. It was done in 1989, but it looks like it was done last year. It has resided in East Tennessee for more than the past 20 years we know of for sure. This car is made for someone to hop in, turn the key, and go to any show or just cruise. In the paragraphs to follow we will give you a brief description of the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of the Chevy, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.

We will start off with the exterior of this beauty. As you can see from the pictures she was taken all the way apart when redone. When you walk around this Chevy it has a laser straight body. All the gaps and lines all look great. The body is covered in the Regal Turqoise Metallic that is accented by the India Ivory that all has a deep rich shine. At the time of the resto they replaced all the side class and resealed the windshield and rear glass. It appears that it also has all new chrome and the stainless also looks like new or near new condition. The final exterior touch is the set of American Racing Wheels and Nice Tires.

Next, we will take a look at the interior of the ’55. It’s all done in Gray tweed with the bench seats, carpet, and door panels also being done in gray. The dash is painted to match the exterior and really flows the two together nicely. It has the gauges upgraded to classic industries as well as the stereo being upgraded to Panasonic. The steering column was changed to a tilt wheel and the Vintage AC has the updated control panel that appears factory.

Finally, we will take a look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood it has a 350 V8 that is mated to a 350 Turbo Trans and what appears to be a stock rear end. They did a nice job on the AC with the lines being ran in a way that looks clean and neat. The steering was upgraded to a 605 Power Gear Box and Saginaw Pump. As for the brakes they were also upgraded to Power with Disc on the Front. It has dual exhaust with block hugger headers. They added an electric fan to keep it cool and Electronic Ignition. The fuel tank was replaced as well as the lines. When you look at the bottom it has original floor pans that have been undercoated to protect them. The frame doesn’t show any signs of damage.

As we said earlier this is car that is ready to hop in, turn the key, and go. We are selling it to be a Bel Air CLONE. It’s an extremely nice car that is guaranteed to make someone proud.
