2006 Bentley Continental Flying Spur

You are viewing one of the nicest 2006 Flying Spurs I have ever seen. It is finished in the highly desireable Silver Tempest over Portland Hides. Both the inside and outside of this amazing Saloon is just about perfect. The Paint has a very nice luster; almost as if it spent its entire life under cover. The leather on this inside is free of any scratches or tears and appears almost new. The carpet piling is immaculate and the Burr Wood is perfect. The entire headliner is covered in Portland Hides and is perfect as well; free of any seperation. This is not even close to your average 06' MY Bentley; it's much better!

This Flying Spur has been recently serviced in our Bentley Service Center and needs absolutely nothing.

If the speedometer were a timepiece, it'd be about 3 o'clock. On a northern Italian autostrada, the Flying Spur seems to latch onto the distant snow-dusted Dolomites with an invisible grappling hook and reel itself toward them at what would be an alarming clip in most other cars. But this is a Bentley, remember? No cause for alarm.

That's what makes the Flying Spur special: the understressed and almost casual way it barrels up to vision-blurring speeds while delivering roadholding that's at once comfortable and confidence-breeding. The twin-turbocharged 552-bhp 6.0-liter W-12 never breaks a sweat while doling out big, velvety lumps of torque (a peak of 479 lb.-ft. is on call at an ultra-low 1600 rpm), while the ZF 6-speed's shifts hardly interrupt the flow of power.

Its air suspension, whose recalibrated dampers can be tuned to four levels of firmness, soaks up the patter of expansion joints, and automatically lowers 10 mm in front, 25 mm in the rear at speeds above 155 mph, making its under-trunk diffuser more effective at reducing lift. Lots of rear bite is comforting at a claimed top speed of 195 mph, which gives the Flying Spur the heady title of world's fastest production 4-door. And let's not forget about Bentley's believable 0-60 number of 4.9 seconds, which will give pause to drivers of C6 Corvettes.
