Would you like more information about the Boxster?  I recommend reviewing the Boxster's original specifications.  If you are unable to acquire a copy of Excellence Magazine's review of TPC Racing's supercharger upgrade consider reviewing Pelican Parts' review of supercharging Boxsters.  Although I do not have a good video of the car "at speed", mine performs essentially the same as this gentleman's (though I do not drive like that!).

Condition:

Good functional condition:

In short, everything works.  I would not hesitate to drive it 3000 miles, cross-country.

The steering is good, suspension is good, brakes are very good (pads >75% remaining, rotors >75%). Ball joints fine, wheel bearings fine.  Original wheels in good condition with minor curb rash, tires are 50% in the front, 90% in the rear.  No odd vibrations at speed.  Tracks straight, brakes straight.

The engine starts fine in all conditions -- I keep the battery charged with a BatteryTender.  The car offers mild manners and runs essentially like stock under normal driving, suitable for driving around town or on highway trips and can crawl along in traffic at 7mph without a fuss.  However, the Eaton supercharger and TPC Racing exhaust dramatically changes the car's character beyond 1/3 throttle.  From a muted rumble at lower rpms to a wailing staccato above 4000rpms, it pulls hard to redline.  The clutch is forgiving, light, and does not slip.  Manual transmission has no grinds and shift linkage is fine.  No overheating.  AC works fine.  Fluids and filters should soon be changed due to age, not due to mileage, and I can have this done for the buyer prior to pick-up or transport if they wish.

Convertible top closes and retracts properly and does not leak water even when washing the car.  All cabin controls (switches, horns, etc.) work fine as do the CD player and CD changer.

Good cosmetic condition:

Seductive and gorgeous!  Clean CARFAX and no known accidents, but front bumper was re-painted by the prior owner likely due to stone chips, though I've never taken the panel off to inspect more closely -- everything appears OEM and as it should be.  Externally, there is one scratch on driver's front fender (touched up), a few minor marks on the front bumper (along with a few rock chips) and a minor scratch on the driver's rear fender.  Minor dings/dents on hood and right rear quarter panel, but these are hardly noticeable -- see photos.  No rust nor indication that it has ever seen snow or salt.  The car remains stored in a heated garage.  Seats are very good with only mild wear on bolsters.

History:

I am a member of the Porsche Club of America (PCA) and a high-performance driving instructor -- I first fell in love with the handling of a Boxster after one of my students shared theirs with me at Virginia International Raceway.  This Boxster was my third Porsche and shares garage space with a half-dozen other sports cars (Lotus', GT-R's, etc.).   I bought this Boxster to create a track-only toy, something similar to a NASA-compliant "Spec Boxster" but with more power.  However, it has only been driven on the street and never "at speed", not even at an auto-x or TSD rally.  I need to make room for another car project that I recently began.

Liens or other claims:

None.  The car is free of any liens, taxes or other claims.  I have the clean title in-hand, ready for transfer.

Closing thoughts:

I welcome questions and in-personal inspections, but you must be able to demonstrate identification and financial means to purchase the car prior to test driving it.  I am also willing to submit the car to a pre-purchase inspection (PPI) at a location of your choice, such as at the local dealership, EuroClassics Porsche.  I have done my best to represent the car accurately and minimize your risk through disclosure -- please bid with confidence.

• 48-state flat-fee delivery of the vehicle to a trucking depot within any of the 100 largest cities in the 48-state U.S. via an enclosed, insured and bonded transporter.  We'll find a carrier and transport the car to you for a flat $1600 (or $2200 for an enclosed transport).
