This MGB is one rare bird. It is a true one-owner car with 22,718 miles on the clock. The first thing you should do when you buy this car is drive it. It drives like a brand new MGB--fresh from the factory. Probably because, after over 40 years, it practically is! 22,000 miles is a drop in the bucket for most of these hardy cars, but this one was used sparingly over its posh life. The second thing you should do is sit down with all the paperwork, dating back to the original sales paperwork, that comes with the car. It tells the story of a MG that was cared for like these cars deserve to be treated. It is a shame not every owner took such good care of their British sportscars. We wish all our cars had history files like this one does. In an era where it is costing close to $50,000 to do a rebuild on these cars, you hardly ever see a timewarp example like this one. It is finished in the quintessential MG color "aqua blue" over a rare blue interior. The car has received one exterior repaint in the original color. The paint looks very nice and is presentable, but it is not perfect. There are a few small (dime sized or smaller) bubbles at the bottom on the driver side rocker panel. There is some very minor corrosion in the floors. Otherwise the car is incredibly solid for its age. All the panels on the car are straight as an arrow and it gaps up beautifully.
