Every buyer is required to pay the $399 dealer processing fee, 0.17% dealer business license tax that is required by state of Virginia , and $2.00  30-temp tag fee to get the vehicle home is also required (if needed). 

The winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, to make arrangements for payment at that time.  A $500.00 deposit for the vehicle is also due 24 hours of end of auction.  The remainder is due within 5 days of auction end.  If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise.

We reserve the right to sell the vehicle localy and remove it from eBay at any time.  Stohlman Auto does not guarentee any state inspection. The vehicle is inspected in the state of Virginia before we sell it to you.  All AS-IS sales are disclosed in the listing. If there is a current factory warranty that is transferable with the vehicle it will also be disclosed in the eBay listing.

1. Deposit - The successful high bidder must contact the seller via email or phone (mturner@stohlmanauto.com: 240-671-6079) within 24 hours to submit a $500.00 deposit to secure the vehicle.  Buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due (plus applicable fees and taxes) within 5 days of the close of the auction. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle.
2. Payment - Cash, Cashier Check, Certified Check or 3rd-party financing are our only methods of payments. All funds must be in US dollars only. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than the year 2000 or with more than 100,000 miles.  Make sure if financing that your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding.  Please arrange financing prior to bidding.  If you have any questions please call us for more information. 3. Taxes and Registration fees: Out of state buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title service fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered. All taxes and fees must be paid in full in order for vehicle to be titled and registered.
4. Buyer's Inspection - Every effort was made to accurately and fairly describe this vehicle. Our Dealership has tried to disclose all information known about this vehicle for auction, but it is the responsibility of the buyer to have thoroughly inspected the vehicle, and to have satisfied himself or herself as to the condition and value and to bid based upon that judgement solely.  The seller shall and will make every reasonable effort to disclose any known defects associated with this vehicle at the buyer's request prior to the close of the sale.  Please be advised that used vehicles will have some dings and scratches inherent for their year and mechanical parts are subject to fail. Our dealership welcomes and recommends a buyer's inspection.
5. Shipping - The buyer is responsible for pick-up or shipping of this vehicle, and all shipping charges.  If you wish to have the vehicle shipped using a service, we will gladly cooperate.  You can locate shippers by doing a search for "auto shippers."  We assume no responsibility for damages incurred after leaving our dealership.  If the vehicle is going to be shipped, full payment must be received (via wire transfer) before the vehicle is picked up by the shipping company.  Also, the transaction needs to be complete with 7days.  After this time frame, there will be a storage fee of $25/daily.
6. Warranty - This vehicle is being sold AS-IS, where is with now warranty, expressed written or implied.  The seller shall not be responsible for the correct description, authenticity, genuineness, or defects herein, and makes no warranty in connection therewith.  No allowance or set aside will be made on account of any incorrectness, imperfection, defect or damage.  Any descriptions or representations are for the identification purposes only and are not to be construed as a warranty of any type. 

Bidder Notice

We reserve the right to cancel all bids and end an auction early should the vehicle no longer be available for sale.

1. Bid Retractions - Bid retractions are not allowed nor will be recognized within 12 hours of auctions end.  Seller will not be obligated to sell in the event of a late retraction.
2. Negative Feedback Bidders - We do not allow bidding from negative feedback bidders. New bidders with zero feedback rating should email us or call us prior to bidding (or your bid will be deleted).
3. Successful Bidder - The winning bidder will be contacted via email after the auction closes or he/she must contact us within 24 hours to proceed with payment and delivery arrangements.
4. Non-Paying Bidder - If the deposit is not received within 24 hours of the close of auction or if the balance is not paid in full within 7 days following the close of auction, we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle or sell the vehicle to the next highest bidder or another qualified buyer.
