2011 Lotus Exige Matte Black Final Edition 23/25 NO RESERVE

Introduction

Like new condition Exige Final Edition Matte Black number 23/25. Very clean car and a blast to drive! NO TRACK USE, majority of miles is from driving to and front work on nice days, never in the rain, as clean as they come (see wheel arch liner picture near bottom) Clean title, clean Autocheck as shown below. Needs nothing but a new owner. Only 2,634 Miles. This car features (from the factory of course) OHLINS Double Adjustable shocks with remote reservoirs, Lotus Sport AP Racing Large front calipers/rotors, Lotus track pack rear toe link brace, Lotus Sport adjustable sway bar, factory harness bar, limited slip differential, and variable slip rate "Lotus Traction Control." 1,000 mile service with ECU readout completed July, 2013 (see last pictures below). Comes with all books, tool kit, two keys, and nice binder with original sales brochure, window sticker, plaque, 2 copies of the special edition certificate hand signed by Arnie Johnson of Lotus Cars USA. This car is an absolute blast to drive, out of the 5 Lotus Elise/Exiges I've owned before this is the most refined car, and certainly one to keep if you are a collector as it is truly one of the last "111" road going chassis cars to be brought to the US. Reason for sale, want to buy more property. If you buy this car be prepared to stop traffic, literally. The pictures do not do the matte paint justice. Factory Warranty until 9/16/2015.

Upgrades

The car has some small aesthetic things that could be easily reversed if the buyer chooses:

Alpine head unit with bluetooth streaming (no need for the iPod Cord, original head unit was Alpine to start with)

Matte Paint Care Tips and Advice

I have read some misleading comments online about how the matte paint is hard to take care of (comments from people who haven't owned a matte painted car!) so I'm providing some useful information to anyone interested and to explain how easy it is to care for. To be honest the matte paint is easy to take care of because you don't have to worry about swirl marks, wax, or buffing. Just like any other paint, there are special products to use. After many miles of use I haven't had any issues with the paint, and instead of washing the car like I normally would on a car with clear-coat, it takes 15 minutes to wipe down with 2 microfibers and you don't have to worry about scratching the paint! This is hands down the easiest black car I have ever owned.

Here is some good reading on matte paint care if anyone is interested as well as a few products available on the market (sorry ebay would not let me make these links active so you have to copy and paste):

Picture taken when front suspension adjusted favoring a softer ride, yes this car is still THAT CLEAN (picture taken circa 1,900 miles).

The dealer never installed the Special Edition Plaque, so I still have it (thats it in the picture, you can't tell its raised aluminum with adhesive on the back) with the dealer instruction letter on where to put it! Pretty neat!
