    This is a Very Good Looking 'E' Body! This one was show quality when it was built in the 1999/2000 timeline. A 'Market Value Appraisal' from 2003 stated the car was 'Excellent' and 'Restored to Impeccable Standards'. Since its completion it has been driven, shown and enjoyed. It was stored for the last few years. There are now paint imperfections from use visible on close inspection. I call this one a 10 footer. From 10 feet it is awesome, from 5 it looks good and up close you can see the stone chips, dings and normal paint wear. This one is a great driver, not a show car. The floors are solid and the quarters look good. Both quarter panels were replaced as were the door skins. There are some bubbles on the passenger door and the trunk pan was patched. The floors appear to be the originals and with no obvious signs of rust. The frame rails appear to be original as well. Again, nice driver but no longer a show car.

    Inside the interior looks good. The seat upholstery, carpet, door panels and headliner are all in good condition with minimal wear. The dash pad has a crack as do most E-Bodies. There is a dash cover currently installed.


    The 340 was rebuilt back in June of 2000 and comes with receipts. It reportedly has a solid lifter Mopar Performance Camshaft. We removed the valve covers and did find the engine to be very clean with roller rocker arms. Topping off the engine is an Edelbrock Performer Intake Manifold and matching carburetor. It breathes through Hooker Headers and dual exhaust. It sounds great with a nice lope to the idle and a crisp exhaust note. Backing up the engine is a quick shifting automatic transmission. It was built with a nice shift kit and is shifted through a B&M console mounted shifter.


    The wheels are 17x8 front and 17x9.5 in the rear. The tires are nice BF Goodrich Comp T/A's with a nice full 275 in the rear! These are high dollar tires that handle excellent!


    If you are in the market for a good no-guilt driver, give this car a good look. It has all the 'Eye-Ball' of a $50k Muscle Car but is not too nice to enjoy.
