Marino Performance Motors is very excited to present this beautiful 1-Owner 2006 Mercedes SLR McLaren grand tourer car jointly developed by Mercedes-Benz and McLaren Automotive! Finished in Crystal Laurit Silver with a special commemorative 300SL Red interior with only 2,800 pampered miles! Having only produced 141 cars for the US market this supercar is extremely rare!

The SLR brakes feature Sensotronic, a type of brake-by-wire system. The brake discs are carbon-ceramic and provide better stopping power and fade resistance than steel discs when operating under ideal working temperature. During wet conditions the calipers automatically skim the surface of the discs to keep them dry. To improve braking performance there is an automatic air brake, when engaged the rear elevation angle of the rear spoiler is set to 65 degrees.

The SLR sports a hand-built 5.5L, supercharged, all-aluminium, SOHC V8 engine. The cylinders are angled at 90 degrees with three valves per cylinder and lubricated via a dry sump system. The Lysholm-type twin-screw supercharger rotates at 23,000 revolutions per minute and produces 13 psi of boost! The compressed air is then cooled via two intercoolers. The engine generates a maximum power of 617 HP and maximum torque of 580 ft lbs!

Due to the automatic gear box, front mid-engined arrangement, and its driving characteristics, some commentators classify the SLR McLaren as a GT, whose rivals would be vehicles such as the Aston Martin DBS V12 and Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano. SLR stands for "Sport Leicht Rennsport" (Sport Light Racing). This Sport Light Racing supercar reaches 0 to 60 in just under 3.4 seconds!

Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time.  A $1000.00 deposit is due within 24 hours of the auction end.  The remaining balance is due within 5 days of Auction end.  If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise.  Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles.  Make sure if financing, your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle BEFORE bidding.
