Vehicle Description 1969 Ford XL GT Convertible featured in the correct Gulf Stream Aqua Paint with the original interior. This vehicle has just finished going through a painstaking three-year restoration. The restoration is fully documented and correct original parts were used when possible. Much of the trim was located one piece at a time and the hubcaps are extremely rare. Even the rear glass, which was switched to PPG in 1970, is correct. The restoration total cost was just over 80,000. This car was completed with the intention of never being sold and the quality of it shows. This XL GT was ordered with white power top w/ glass backlight, GT equipment group, C-6 Cruise-O-matic transmission, traction lock differential, electric clock, visibility group, power windows, power steering, tilt-away wheel, speed control, AM/FM radio, and tinted glass. This is factory air that is installed and even the original factory stamping has been redone exactly as it was done in 1969.
