This is a good looking truck, not perfect or new, but it's very straight and free of body rust. The history reports read clean, no accidents. It has been repainted, but it's a decent job, done in base-clear with plenty of gloss. It's been color sanded and there's a couple little spots where it could stand to be buffed up a little harder and some light sanding marks, but not too noticeable, especially for an older truck. The roof has hail damage and there's some very faint hail on the sides and some on the fender tops. The hood has zero hail. The wheels are in nice shape and tires aren't very old. These aren't cheapie tires. The bed liner is new and there hasn't been a hitch in the bed as best I can tell. Someone has already gone to the trouble of replacing the door hinges that always wear on these, so the doors open and shut nicely.

The glass is fine, little pitting on the windshield, but no cracks. It has had the fender trim pieces and the side moldings removed, leaving some small holes, but the truck looks a lot cleaner this way. You could easily fit it with some rubber moldings from a local parts store if you want to cover the holes. The grille has a few busted fins, but looks fine, rear bumper shows some dings, and the tailgate is well seasoned. It's an older truck and not perfect, right rear cab corner and left rear b-pillar in behind the drivers head have some shoddy body work, photos do it well though. There aren't many 300k mile 23 year old Dodges that look like this.

TWe've put about 250 miles on this truck since purchase and have been quite happy. Like so many good ol' 12 valves, just flip the key and the truck barely cranks and runs almost instantly. It fires easy in cold weather and doesn't smoke excessively. It has a little normal blow by but not bad for the mileage. It drives very straight and we've never had any hiccups with the transmisison which has nice looking fluid and seems to shift nicely through all the gears.

The front end has a bit of play but it doesn't wander around too much, like I said, it drives straight. The 4x4 works fine, brake pad life is good, oil and filter are new and we did the fuel filter. The truck has good power but doesn't feel like it's been turned up hard. It has tall gears, 3.5s, should get excellent fuel economy for a truck this size (21mpg?). The undercarriage is naturally crusty, some seepage, not leaving any puddles, but it's dirty. It isn't rusty though, truck hasn't seen road salt. We're confident this one has a long haul yet to go and you're welcome to fly in and drive home.
