Financing:

Most banks and lending institutions do not finance vehicles older than 2000 or with more than 100k miles. We accept cash (In person), cashiers check (In person, clearance times can vary by institution), or bank wire transfer (we prefer this method of payment). Make sure if you are financing the vehicle you plan to purchase, that your secure financing institution accepts the year and mileage of this vehicle BEFORE bidding. PLEASE ARRANGE FINANCING PRIOR TO BIDDING.

Insurance:

All financed vehicles require full insurance coverage when the vehicle is picked up. Out of state buyers paying cash do not require insurance at purchasing. In order to register the vehicle in the buyers prospective state, insurance does need to be acquired and presented to the DMV at registration.

Fees:

There is a $439.00 Dealer Conveyance fee (paperwork, DMV fees, Ebay fees, records management, etc.) added to the price of every vehicle for ALL customers and dealers.

There is a $139 Charge for roadside assistance that gives you three years and 50 miles of coverage associated with every purchase from County Line.

Warranty:

According to State of Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicle statutes, Sec 42-221 each contract which is entered into by a dealer for the sale to a consumer of a used motor vehicle which has a cash price of $3000 or more, but less than $5000, shall include an express warranty, covering the full cost of both parts and labor, that the vehicle is mechanically operational and sound and will remain so for at least 30 days or 1500 miles of operation, whichever period ends first, in the absence of damage resulting from an automobile accident or from misuse of the vehicle by the consumer. A vehicle with a cash price of $5000 and above has the same express warranty for a period of 60 days or 3000 miles, whichever period ends first, in the absence of accidents and/or misuse of the vehicle.Out of state buyers warranty coverage may vary.

The provisions of this section do not apply to the sale of a used vehicle with a cash price of less than $3000 or the sale of a used motor vehicle which is seven years of age or older, which age shall be calculated from the first day in January of the designated model year of said vehicle. And the consumer may waive the warranty pursuant to this section only as to a particular defect in the vehicle which the dealer has disclosed to the consumer as being defective.

The extent of the warranty applies to the major components of the vehicle which render it operational (ex: Engine, transmission, drive axle, brakes, steering, suspension, electrical- including power windows and seats). Because the term "mechanically operational and sound" is not overly specific, certain repair claims will be judgment calls by the dealer. The express warranty does not apply to (1) defects which are merely cosmetic, (2) tires, (3) radio and related items, (4) glass defects which do not obstruct vision, (5) squeaks and rattles, (6) upholstery, (7) defects or damage resulting from an automobile accident or from misuse of vehicle by the customer.

If there is any remaining factory warranty on the vehicle, that is transferrable, the customer is entitle to the protection of that factory warranty. In some cases fees may apply to transfer any such warranty. The customer is solely responsible for any applicable fees.

Misc. Information:

Our dealership is located in Middlebury, Connecticut. We are right off I-84 at Exit 17. Please see our website or call customer service for further directions. We are 40 minutes from Bradley International Airport and 1 hour from Westchester Airport. We offer shuttle pickups from these two locations as well as the train stations in New Haven and Hartford Connecticut.

The State of Connecticut does require a safety and emissions inspection before delivery of any pre-owned vehicle. We are responsible for the vehicles safety and emissions inspection if needed.

If you are unsure about anything in our auction, please ASK. Do not assume if something is not listed, that it is included. All of our pictures are of the actual vehicles offered for sale. It is our intention to present our vehicles as accurately as possible but due to the high volume of our dealership, occasionally a typo or inconsistency may occur. We will not be held responsible for misprints or inaccuracies due to the VIN Decoder on our computer programs. Please review the pictures and call us with your questions. We will gladly review the vehicle with you and confirm all the actual options on each vehicle.We use an outside company to post all photographs and vehicle information and once in a very great while they may make an error. If they do we will scold them but you should not hold us responsible.
