1989 Jaguar XJS, CAR WILL BE SOLD TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER!!!!!  CLEAN CAR FAX.  Local car purchased new in New York City and registered in Endicott NY. Have records on last repair orders but complete history may be available from previous owner (can not gaurantee this). Previous records indicate maintenance at Bill Rapp and Bennett Jaguar. Mileage on car is actual.  Car is in overall excellent condition and was driven daily this summer. Put away in winters. Please review the photo's.  The car has excellent paint (looks original), no tape lines or overspray. No dents, minor chips have been touched up.  Bright work is absolutely excellent.  Interior is like new, leather is supple, wood is excellent, interior trim and plastics are excellent. The leather as you can see is with out tears and any wear.  Only wear as shown is in the headliner which is torn on the foam fabric.

Mechanically the car is excellent. Over $9k has been spent in the last 4 repair services. All fluids changed, new high pressure power steering hose replaced, all electrical issues sorted out, new front brakes and rotors, new exhaust hangers, electrical switches replaced. Distributor cap and rotors changed, new spark plugs and wires.  Various high pressure hoses have been replaced. New A/C compressor, reciever drier and hoses changed as needed. Climate control vacuum pods have been changed all functions work.

The results are: Car has excellent heat, Ice cold air conditioning. All fan speeds work.  Runs and drives excellent. Transmission shifts excellent. No smoking. Does not overheat at idle. Idle is excellent.  No warning lights are on. Brakes have no pulsation.  Car has good suspension. Tires are good. Yes all the electrics work, headlights, heated seats, lumbar for seats, turn signals, high beams, wipers, cruise control. Radio works but is after market. Original radio is in trunk. Has books and all keys.

Imperfections: As with age various rubber seals do not properly seal. There is wind noise but very minor.  When it rains it is dry inside so convertible top seals properly. There are a few minor chips that have been touched up. Occasionally when car is cold it takes 2 turns to start car but runs and idles perfectly.  Headliner has minor tear as shown in photo.  Radio bezzel is missing in Alpine radio. Very minor oil leak.
