Dodge's Coronet holds the unique distinction of being the first Mopar to carry the R/T or Road and Track moniker. The R/T option was introduced on the 1967 Coronet. This car keeps the tradition alive. This is an original R/T 440 Coronet that has been restored to a beautiful show quality car. This is a multi-awarding winning car that has regularly participated in shows throughout the southwest. The R/T package features big block 440 V8 power as standard equipment (optional was the HEMI 426), heavy duty suspension, beefier brakes, larger tires, and R/T badging. The Coronet R/T was only offered for 4 production years, beginning in 1967 and ending in 1970, the glory days of the American Muscle Cars. Enjoy our presentation of this amazing R/T. Read on!

The R/T stripe is a custom brilliant yellow pearlescent blend. This car was massaged from bare metal up to its present beautiful condition. In 1968, the Dodge Coronet was redesigned to this sleek, steamlined, rounded design. The 1969 is visually unchanged. Sales of the Charger R/T and SuperBee increased for '69, Coronet R/T sales dropped. Less than 7,240 Coronet R/Ts were produced in 1969. The era of the muscle car was coming to close in grand style. The big block Dodge was and still is king in the hearts and minds of many enthusiasts to this day.

This specially prepared 440 c.i. 4bbl. V8 was built by Mopar expert Kyle Llano of Gainsville, Texas. Kyle is also responsible for the built 727 automatic transmission & 8 3/4 differential behind this healthy power plant. The engine was balanced and blueprinted by Raymond Grice Engine of Durant, Oklahoma. This car has been fitted with free-flowing headers, Aluminum Edlebrock Heads, upgraded ignition, an aluminum intake, tuned 4bbl. carburetor and much more. A specially ground Hughes Engineering Camshaft was ground specially for this car. Even though the car has been taken to the track  just for fun, it is really a show car and has many awards to prove it. It runs on pump gas.

This big block Dodge is currently tuned for the street on pump gas and makes a dyno-verified 400+ horsepower to the rear wheels. I want to mention this is an adult owned, operated, and shown vehicle. This is a highly detailed Mopar ready to show. This is a car that has been set-up to drive to the car shows comfortably.
