1971 JAGUAR E-TYPE V-12 2+2 COUPE

--BRG with Black leather interior and Black carpeting, 68,000 original miles-7,000 since engine rebuild, Numbers Matching, 4-speed, Factory A/C, Restored-Upgraded for ultimate street use or show.

This V-12 Coupe is exceptional and has been owned, maintained and uprated by a Jaguar enthusiast-mechanic.  It starts nicely from cold and runs flawlessly to redline. Previously owned and cared for by Richard Wright, the following in his words…”This car is a FUN investment and it's ready to drive anywhere…..I have been maintaining and improving Jaguars for 46 years, and this car has been in my care for 10 years.  It was on the cover of the January 2012 E-type Club magazine.  This is a rare opportunity to own a fully developed car that has never been teenager owned or abused.”

Performance Improvements Include:  Superlite Knock-off Racing wheels with series 1 spinners, Yokohama AVS 100 street tires, Porterfield Carbon Kevlar brake pads that seem to nearly double the stopping power of the car with no fade!, Urethane front suspension bushings, Adjustable custom sway bars front and rear, Adjustable Spax shocks on all corners, Stainless steel headers and exhaust with custom exhaust tips, XJS HE 11.5 to1 pistons which run perfect with premium gas!, 4- 2" SU HD8 carbs instead of the 175cd emissions carbs., K&N air filters, Aluminum flywheel and Stage 2 Borg and Beck clutch, 3.07 Highway gears for better cruising, GM Delco alternator mounted where the air pump use to be, reducing front car weight considerably, and it opens up the area in front of the engine for better access.

Cosmetic Upgrades Include:  Jag-eyes.com headlight covers.  The black center plastic console is now covered with black leather to give a greater sense of quality and luxury.  The front and rear bumper guards are series 1 and 2 to give the car classic styling as opposed to the rubber-bumpered originals.  To give the the Jag a more chopped looking roof-line like the Coupes, the door spears have been removed in favor of chrome strip at the top of the door body.  Much improved and better looking reverse lights that light up the night!

This is an exceptional E-type 2+2 that fits 6’+ adults in comfort with 2+2 seating for kids all in the comfort of factory air conditioning.  It is an exceptional driving car whether in traffic, on the highway or under full throttle acceleration, an awesome V-12 E-type in every respect.  Serviced to the highest level, this E-type is ready for immediate use and its next new home.
