Up for auction is a real 70 challenger RT. This challenger runs and drives very good. The engine is a rebuilt 383 big block {stock build} 727 automatic transmission, {also rebuilt} with new 2 1/2" dual exhaust system and original style tips. Power steering with very good and tight front end. The brakes are in excellent working order. The emergency brake works good. The rear vallance panel has been cut out for tips. This car will need some body work and new paint. The paint job on this car is UGLY. The challenger still has all original body panels including original trunk pan. The frame rails {unibody} are very solid and rust free. All major parts on the body are solid. There is some filler and bubbles on the lower rear qt panels and some minor bubbles here and there. There is a patch panel in the trunk. PLEASE see all pictures before asking questions. The left rear tail panel also has some minor damage and is missing the chrome piece. All chrome and stainless look to be original and will need to be replaced or rechromed. It has the RT hood, 14" magnum wheels with new 235-60-14 tires. Front grill is very nice,will need repainted. This Rt has the original factory fender tag. VIN , cowl, radiator support, are all in place and all #'s are correct and match title. The door sticker was painted over and is not readable. This is a real JS N-code RT challenger with factory AC {missing AC parts} and loaded fender tag that runs and drives great. The highest bid will win with a no reserve. This car will need minor body and paint to be a very nice car. It is a high-Impact color FJ5. The interior is black and is in very nice driver condition. Carpet need replaced,bucket seats and rear seat are very clean and nice with all correct seat belts. The rallye dash is missing the AC switch panel { one will come with the sale} radio is missing. The horn is not working,no brake lights {should be an easy fix} all lights do work,blinkers worksome rallye gauges are not working such as clock and tach. There are some aftermarket gauges installed,Oil/Temp. Excellent oil pressure even at idol,New 3-core copper radiator with correct radiator #'s {2998970 440 auto.}. Runs very cool. This car starts easy and idols great and is ready to drive. The steering wheel is also in very nice condition and original. All door panels are OK for a driver. There is a home made dash cover,{VIN # is under dash cover and correct} The headliner is new but also not the original style. All front and rear windows roll up and down. The passenger front and drivers side rear are a bit tight but do work. The 383 engine is bone stock with Holley 4-bbl carb. and comes with a new chrome air filter. The paint is cheap and ugly. The drivers side door sags and is a little hard to open. The front windshield has cracks.
