Are you looking for a BEAUTIFUL - SURVIVOR - '78 Mercury Marquis Brougham Four Door Pillared Hardtop and only a beautiful ONE OWNER - LOW MILEAGE pampered example will make you happy !? We just  purchased this Marquis Brougham from the older ORIGINAL Colorado owner and as you can clearly see it was his pride and joy for sure !! This Marquis only has 48,677 ACTUAL - ORIGINAL MILES however we have no  way to prove it. Just look at this thing though !! Careful to not let this 1978 jewel get away ! What a value it is at the reserve price which is set very low ! This 1978 Mercury Marquis is one nice driving vehicle and is sound and in very nice shape. THIS CAR IS ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE DRIVERS !! It is smooth and quiet with no squeaks or rattles and what a great highway car that has plenty of power at 70 MPH +. It is a NICE - SOLID - DRY -  Colorado - Idaho high mountain desert western vehicle that has been owned by ONE OWNER since brand new,  UNBELIEVABLE !! It comes with its FACTORY ORIGINAL 1978 Mercury owner's manual, ORIGINAL Factory build sheet (NEAT !!), ORIGINAL Panasonic Radio / CB Transceiver operating manual and the FACTORY ORIGINAL driver's door mounted Mercury data sticker, all of which are shown in pictures below. 1978 was the last year for the second generation Marquis and they tell me it's the year to have !! If you can make it to Boise in the next ten days please come look at and drive this Marquis Brougham for yourself, you won't be disapointed !! THIS IS A QUALITY CAR FOR SURE !! 

This Mercury Marquis Brougham has what appears to be the ORIGINAL - STRONG - Code "S" - 400 CID (6.6 Litre) V8 in it and it is running very well and also retains its ORIGINAL four barrel intake manifold, ORIGINAL exhaust manifolds, ORIGINAL valve covers, ORIGINAL air cleaner housing and the ORIGINAL four barrel carb. Sounds good too with the good factory style exhaust system. The engine is backed by a SMOOTH - Code "X" - C6 three speed automatic transmission which also functions very well. The  ALL ORIGINAL !! (Yes that's not a misprint, ALL ORIGINAL !!) - Code "BR" - Medium Blue Brougham Velour Cloth and vinyl interior is in BEAUTIFUL condition with a VERY NICE ORIGINAL Brougham Medium Blue Cloth and vinyl front seat with fold down center armrest, VERY NICE ORIGINAL  Brougham Medium Blue Cloth and vinyl rear seat, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Faux Wood Grain dash, VERY NICE ORIGINAL factory gauge clusters, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Medium Blue vinyl dash pad with NO CRACKS, VERY NICE ORIGINAL blue carpeting, NICE ORIGINAL Medium Blue Vinyl sun visors,  VERY NICE ORIGINAL Medium Blue vinyl headliner, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Medium matching Blue vinyl and Faux Wood Grain accented door panels and a VERY NICE ORIGINAL Mercury steering wheel. In my opinion you're not going to find a much nicer ORIGINAL interior in a 35 year old vehicle  than the one in this car, UNBELIEVABLE !! All of the ORIGINAL rubber weatherstripping is still soft, supple and in GREAT condition for being original. This Marquis Brougham is nicely equipped including Cold WORKING FACTORY AIR CONDITIONING, factory power steering, factory power brakes with discs up front, 6 way power adjustable front bench seat, factory power windows, factory power wipers, cruise control, working original clock, dual chrome remote side view exterior mirrors, factory front and rear seat belts, factory "Hide-Away" headlights, original day / night rear view mirror, original Panasonic AM / FM stereo radio CB radio Transceiver, good heater and defroster, good glass, factory fender skirts, factory back up lights and 2 Panasonic 6x9 speakers mounted in the rear deck lid. The CLEAN - SOLID - ORIGINAL trunk also sports the ORIGINAL black carpet liner, full size spare tire, jack and lug wrench. This Beautiful Luxury Car is a great running and wonderful looking classic Mercury Marquis that has  STUNNING looks and good power as well ! These vehicles have an appreciative group of owners any of which would be pleased to own this one. The suspension and drive line are in good  working order as well as the electrical system.

This Classic Luxury Car is a great investment opportunity and it is priced right ! This vehicle is in great condition from top to bottom and from front to back.
