Up for sale we have a 1957 Chevy Bel Air 2 Door Hard Top. GM wanted an entirely new car for ’57 but due to production delays they made changes to the 55 and 56 style. The ‘57s came with a new dash along with a wider grill which gave the car a wider look. They changed the wheels to 15” to give it a lower stance. They added tail fins to go with the wider look. The one we have for you is all new top to bottom. In the paragraphs to follow we will give you a brief description of the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of the Chevy, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.

We will start off with the exterior of the ’57. The body was removed from the frame and taken all a part and the panels were either reworked or replaced then fitted for paint. It’s covered in the Victory Red paint that is accented by the all the chrome that appears to either be new or like new. The stainless all looks very good. The glass was removed and reinstalled with new seals and felt. All the metal is detailed beautifully from under the hood to the inner fenders. The final exterior touch is the set of 18” and 20” Coys on the corners.

Next, we will take a look at the interior of the ’57. Everything appears to be new or in like new condition. It has the correct seats covered in the black and red along with the correct door panels. This ’57 is a 4 Speed so they put the correct bench seat shifter so you have full movement of the seat. The dash and Window trim is done in the same victory red as the exterior. The roof rail stainless looks like new. The carpet and headliner are also done in Red. When you look at the dash it’s correct with the stock radio and steering wheel with the exception of the added aftermarket gauges and A/C Vents.

Finally, we will take a look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood is as nice as the rest of the car with all the inner fender and firewall being painted to match the exterior. It has new painless wiring along with the Vintage AC Kit. The engine is a 350 V8 that’s mated to a 4 Speed Trans and what looks to be the correct rear end. It’s dressed with an Aluminum Intake, Holley Carb, and Chrome Valve Covers and Breather. This ’57 has manual steering and brakes but it drives and stops extremely well. The bottom of this ’57 look as it should to be a new build. The pans are new and the frame has been cleaned and painted.
