1957 Cadillac Eldorado Seville - LOW MILE ORIGINAL. Gorgeous! SEE VIDEO.

1957 Cadillac Eldorado Seville 2 Door Hardtop - LOW MILE ORIGINAL.

The Eldorado Seville was the hardtop counterpart to the Eldorado Biarritz Convertible. Luxurious, expensive and with just 2,100 produced at a price tag of $7,286, (equivalent to over $60,000 today), the Eldorado Seville was exclusive.

This particular car, with Fleetwood body number 1881, was sold new in 1957 to the mayor of Leoti, Kansas, who used it sparingly. It subsequently passed through the collections of two careful caretakers before residing with the current owner, a Cadillac collector in Portland, Oregon who is active in the Cadillac-LaSalle Club.

Amazingly, this Eldorado Seville has traveled just 54,000 miles over the past 56 years - an average of 965 miles per year - and has never been restored. Always well maintained, it received one repaint in original white color about 20 years ago and still shows beautifully with only minimal signs of use today. Please see photos and video.

The body is completely RUST FREE and straight, with no signs of accidents or abuse. The chrome and brightwork are excellent, showing only minimal signs of age. The interior is SPECTACULAR and again, completely original. The upholstery, a combination of green leather and metallic fabric, is in excellent original condition after over a half-century. The carpeting and headliner are excellent as is the white fabric top. Simply gorgeous.

Mechanically, the car has been well maintained throughout its life. The original 365 cubic inch, 325 horsepower V8 runs beautifully. With original dual 4-barrel carburetors and batwing air cleaner, this was Cadillac's top-of-the-line powerplant in 1957. The Hydramatic transmission works as it should, as do the power steering and brakes. The engine and drivetrain were rebuilt approximately 2000 miles ago and all receipts will be included. This car also has optional factory air conditioning (should be recharged), Wonderbar radio, 6-way power seat and "Autotronic Eye" headlight dimmer.

It rides on newer Coker wide whitewall radial tires. Sabre wheels (including the spare wheel) are excellent and bright with no damage. Dual exhaust system was replaced and correctly routed through the bumper with no signs of rust or deterioration.

Overall, this is a wonderfully rare Eldorado Seville that honestly reflects the care of its owners. It has been shown at Cadillac events and concours throughout the Northwest and always garners awards and admiration wherever it goes.

A realistic price has been set, based on the rarity, originality and condition of this car.

WE WILL HAPPILY SELL TO BIDDERS, WORLDWIDE.
